Privacy Policy

This policy explains how karvel ("karvel", "we", "us") handles information across the websites and applications we publish under the karvel name (the "Services"). It applies to every karvel product unless a specific app states otherwise within the app itself.

1. Information we collect

Depending on which Service you use, we may collect:

• Account information — such as your name, email address, and a password or sign-in identifier, when you create an account.
• Content you provide — the notes, tasks, records, or files you create or upload while using a productivity or reporting product.
• Usage data — basic diagnostic and analytics data (such as feature usage or crash logs) that helps us understand how a product performs.
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.

We do not collect more than a given product needs to function. Each app's store listing describes, product by product, exactly which of the categories above it uses.

2. How we use information

• To operate and maintain the core functionality of each Service.
• To sync and back up your content across your own devices, where a Service offers that feature.
• To diagnose bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
• To respond when you contact us for support.
• To meet legal obligations where applicable.

3. What we don't do

• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share your content with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
• We do not use your private notes, tasks, or reports to train third-party models without your explicit, separate consent.

4. Sharing of information

We may share limited data with service providers who help us run karvel products — for example, cloud hosting or crash-reporting infrastructure — under agreements that restrict them to providing that service to us. Any third-party SDK or library we integrate is vetted to meet Google Play's Developer Program Policies, and we do not permit those providers to sell the personal or sensitive data collected through our products. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of karvel and its users.

5. Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide a Service. You can request deletion at any time — see Section 7.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards — such as encryption in transit and access controls — to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

You can request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting karvel.dev@gmail.com — including a full account and data deletion request, which we will act on without requiring you to reinstall or sign back into the product. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA); we will honor requests consistent with those laws.

8. Children's privacy

karvel products are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the affected product.
