Lambly is free to use and supported by advertising. It does not require an account, and it does not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
1. What we collect
- Device identifier — a randomly generated ID (not tied to your identity) used to store puzzle progress and streaks, locally and in our Supabase database.
- Game progress — completed puzzles, difficulty level, points, and candle/streak data.
- Usage analytics — screen views and in-app events (emotion selected, puzzle completed/abandoned, candle lit) via Firebase Analytics, plus basic device info (OS version, model, app version).
- Push notification token — an FCM token, generated only if you allow notifications, used to send daily reminders.
- Lamb name — the character nickname you set during onboarding. Stored on-device only; never sent to our servers.
- Advertising data — Google AdMob collects an advertising ID, approximate IP-based location, device info, and ad interactions to serve and measure ads.
We never access your photos, contacts, calendar, camera, microphone, messages, or call logs. Saving a verse card to your gallery only writes a new image — the app never reads your existing media.
2. Third-party services we use
- Google AdMob — ad serving. Google's privacy policy
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Cloud Messaging) — usage analytics and push notifications. Firebase's privacy policy
- Supabase — cloud storage for game progress. Supabase's privacy policy
- KakaoTalk sharing — only invoked if you tap "share to KakaoTalk"; sends only the verse card image and text to the Kakao app you're sharing to.
3. Retention
Game progress is kept while you use the app. Analytics data follows Firebase's standard retention (up to 14 months). Advertising data follows Google AdMob's policy. Deleting the app removes all on-device data immediately.
4. Your choices
- Delete your data — email karvel.dev@gmail.com with your device ID (Settings → App Info → Copy Device ID); we delete it from Supabase within 7 business days.
- Opt out of ad personalization — Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization," or reset your advertising ID.
- Turn off notifications — Android Settings → Apps → Lambly → Notifications.
- Stop all collection — uninstall the app.
5. Children's privacy
Lambly is rated Everyone and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Device identifiers used for progress-saving are not linked to any individual and are not treated as personal information under COPPA.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note the change in the app where appropriate. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
